About Gan Gurim
Gan Gurim is run by a certified pre-school teacher with 14 years of experience.
At Gan Gurim the focus is on age-appropriate activities, ranging from gross/fine motor-activities through cognitive and social skills.
At Gan Gurim the children and their individual needs are listened to and are respected. Children are given the tools to solve social conflicts, with the adult as a guide and not a judge.
We are not afraid of getting messy – different sensory encounters are on top of our list! That includes finger-paint, dough, sand, water and many more!
The children meet for 2 circle times every day, where we discuss the weather, count the days of the month, play social and educational games and sing lots and lots of Hebrew songs. We also have a weekly music class (taught by the lead-teacher, a “music-together” certified teacher) and have a weekly yoga/movement class. During this time we also read many books, use finger-puppets and make every day a meaningful one.
