Hora DC, Israeli Dance Performance Group

HORA DC is an energetic adult dance group comprised of Israeli dance enthusiasts living in the
Washington DC area. The group rehearses weekly at Tikvat Israel Congregation. HORA DC is an
experienced group performing a wide repertoire of dances to include various dance styles that are
reflective of the Israeli culture: European, Middle-Eastern, Spanish, Chasidic, etc.
HORA DC was first conceived in anticipation of Israel Independence Day in 2007 and has since
performed at various venues, including the Israeli Embassy Independence Day celebration, the
celebration of Israel’s 60th Birthday at the National Mall in Washington DC, the New York Israeli
Dance Festival, Boston's Annual Israeli Folk dance
Festival, and the Israeli Dance Festival DC.

Hora DC had participated in many community events:

Israel @62 Capital Celebration, The International Children Festival 2010, Israeli Dance Festivals in New York and in Boston, and many community events.
